The Land of Ten Thousand Lakes 1x48

Northern Minnesota – The Land of Ten Thousands Lakes – is a lush realm of forests and wet bogs. But in winter, it’s governed by snow and ice. Timber wolves search widely with their powerful noses, while great greys – the largest owls in North America – plunge deep into the snow for a meal. The local humans, meanwhile, take to ice fishing for walleye and northern pike – until spring cracks the ice in time for young bald eagles and brilliant loons to reclaim the water.

The Land of Ten Thousand Lakes is an episode of Wild North America.

This film is perfect for wildlife and natural history slots!
