African Bambi
African Bambi is the uniquely real life story of Bambi. It is a story of courage and instinct, of hope and desperation. Set in East Africa, this story truly captures one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The main characters – Grant, Tomi and Imp – are a diverse collection of gazelles on a journey of growth and survival.
Along their travels, fires and starvation test their limits. Over time, Grant learns the ways and wiles of becoming a mature male gazelle: a handsome, fit creature, horns aloft in a gesture of defiance against the fates of the grassland.
This story, full of sadness and tremendous luck, is told from the point of view of a mother giraffe who hides a painful memory – only to be revealed towards the end.
