Of the almost 3,000 people who died on 9/11, around one hundred were fathers of babies who were not yet born. Generation 9/11 follows the lives of a number of these children and their families, as we track their journeys into adulthood. Through their eyes, this bold and innovative documentary blends intimate, individual stories alongside a broader exploration of how the United States has evolved – culturally, politically, socially – since 2001.
