Lewis and Clark 4x55

This documentary tells the dramatic story of the momentous journey that began in 1804, when Lewis and Clark, headed up the Missouri River on what would be the United States’ first official exploration into unknown spaces. The film is about their bond of friendship, as well as their vision of the West as it was before the rest of the nation followed them and changed it forever. But perhaps the big star of this film is the land itself and its extraordinary beauty, because although extensive use is made of archival material, the film is dominated by stunning live cinematography.
